What happens when you try to install the drivers for the GE easycam?

You may try to install the drivers for the device manually and check if that helps.

1.Open Device Manager

2.Expand the tabfor the Camera Driver

3.Click on Update Driver Software

4.Next Window select ‘Browse my computer for driver software’

5.In the next window select ‘Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer’

6.Browse through the computer and add the driver and let it update.

Before installing the latest drivers uninstall the old drivers. Also download the drivers from the link given below.

To uninstall drivers

1. Click on Start menu, type in devmgmt.msc to open the Device Manager.

2. The Device Manager will then display a list of installed devices in the right pane of the console.

3. Expand the category of the device you wish to uninstall.

4. Right-click the device and select Properties.

5. Select the Driver tab on the device's Properties dialog box.

6. Click the Uninstall Driver button.

A dialog box will pop up asking you to confirm ‘Uninstall’. Click OK to proceed.
